Privacy Policy

MidTechTeam ("we", "us", or "our") operates the 4rge mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

The App allows you to log the following health and lifestyle data:

• Pain entries (body location, intensity, pain types, notes)
• Medical conditions and body areas affected
• Daily activity logs (exercise, stretching, sedentary time, sleep quality, stress, medications)
• Workout data (type, duration, heart rate)
• Sleep data (bedtime, wake time, duration, sleep stages)
• AI-generated pattern analysis summaries

You may optionally import workout and sleep data from Apple Health. This data is read-only — the App never writes to Apple Health.

If you create an account, we also collect your email address for authentication purposes.

How Your Data Is Stored

All health data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database. If you choose to create an account and enable cloud backup, your data is synced to Supabase (our cloud provider) using AES-256-GCM client-side encryption. This means your data is encrypted on your device before it is ever transmitted — we cannot read your health data in the cloud.

Your encryption key is stored securely in your device's Keychain (iOS Secure Enclave) and is never transmitted to our servers.

AI Analysis

When you request an AI pattern analysis, the App decrypts your data locally, formats it as plain text, and sends it to our secure server-side function which calls the Anthropic API (Claude) to generate the analysis. The formatted data is used solely to generate your analysis and is not stored by us or Anthropic beyond what their standard API data policies allow.

Your analysis is rate-limited to once every 30 days. The resulting summary is saved back to your device and encrypted cloud backup.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the App's features
• To generate AI-powered pattern analysis at your request
• To sync your data across your devices (if you have an account)
• To respond to support requests sent to support@use4rge.com

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to any third party
• We do not share your health data with advertisers
• We do not use your data for targeted advertising
• We do not have the ability to read your encrypted health data stored in the cloud

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — cloud database and authentication provider
• Anthropic — AI analysis (Claude API); data sent only when you request analysis
• Apple HealthKit — optional read-only access to workout and sleep data

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as you use the App or maintain an account. You may delete all your data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete All Data). This will permanently remove all local data and all cloud data associated with your account.

You may also delete your account entirely, which will remove all associated data from our systems.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
